If you experience chronic depressive episodes, or intrusive suicidal impulses, but you do not want to talk to anyone, you can read what other people do to survive their own chronic depression and suicidal impulses. If you are in immediate danger of self-harm, please call the emergency number for your country and request emergency psychiatric services. (911, 999, 119, etc.)

Turn Low Energy into High Energy
Turn Low Energy into High Energy
When I feel depressed or anxious, I get active right away. I'll go for a run or a swim to burn off that energy. I push myself all the way to the limit of exhaustion by getting physically active, then all I want to do is eat and go to sleep. When I wake up, I am in a much better mood and can focus on things I actually want to think about.
"I pretty much gaslight myself. ha ha"
"I pretty much gaslight myself. ha ha"
Yo... I just pretend I'm an actor and my role is to be a happy outgoing dude. Yeah like I'll just go around acting as if I have a lot of energy and like smiling a lot while holding doors for people and saying hi to strangers. Yeah but check it out dude then I go home and cry (glad this is anonymous ha ha) and then I play GTA-V until I feel like my regular self. It works so I do it every time.
I say, "I love you" to everyone I know.
I say, "I love you" to everyone I know.
When I tell my friends and family that I love them, they say it back to me. I mean everyone too...
I will text everyone in my phone, DM everyone I am closer to on social media, and when I start to feel a little bit better I will say it to my family and local friends face to face.
I have the purr-fect friend.
I have the purr-fect friend.
When I have my worst days, honestly I go find Klaus my amputee tabby cat and love on him and the purrs I get from him brings me so much comfort and joy knowing my love means something to him. It really helps with self esteem also. That may not work for everyone but for me it’s medicine.
Find the Warrior Inside You
Find the Warrior Inside You
I have been right where you are now, so many times, in my 39 years of existence. When I feel the way you're feeling right now, I always tell myself it’s not worth it to give up. I choose to stay alive because deep down I know that I am worth so much more. I’m not broken, I'm living in a broken society! The future is bright… so please, my unknown friend, hang in there!
Stay alive! There are people that love you on this planet,
and I am one of them.
